Orb always puts on a good show. The last time I saw them was a couple of years ago, when Josh (Joy`s brother) and I went to see them at Clutch Cargos, and it had been too long since I had seen them! Everything started at about 9:00 - the opening acts were autolump, and Witchman which are also composed of people associated with orb. The music was great - the visuals were impressive throughout most of the show, save for a bit near the middle where some of the decks they were using appeared to be overheating, and some of the effects were turned off for a while. The show itself ended at about 2:30 or so - no encores, as I think the band was feeling the heat much more than we were. It would have been nice if it had gone on a little longer, and if they had gotten to Toxygene - I had been looking forward to hearing that one live... reply |
