Bubbling Springs

Bubbling Springs

One of the springs at the Bubbling Springs picnic area, along the Icefields Parkway, between the Waterfowl Lake campground, and Lake Louise.
The springs are fed by snowmelt and rainwater, slowly leaking through cracks in the surrounding mountains.

We polished off the last of our hotdogs here, roasting them over a Coleman stove in the picnic area - our food rations were out, and we would have to make it to Lake Louise to resupply.
